ABOUT

Who We Are

The Salus Project is dedicated to helping people move, feel, and live better through a holistic, longevity-centred approach. Founded by Andrew Wilson, a specialist in movement health and human performance, we integrate strength training, mobility, nutrition, and habit design to improve function, energy, and quality of life across decades.

Our method is grounded in the science of Salutogenesis—focusing on the factors that create health and resilience rather than simply avoiding disease. We pair this with Stoic philosophy to cultivate the discipline, clarity, and mental toughness needed to sustain meaningful change in body and mind over the long term.

What We Do

At The Salus Project, we guide individuals toward long-term health through the lens of Salutogenesis—the science of what creates health, not just what prevents disease. Our approach focuses on strengthening each client’s Sense of Coherence (SOC)—the ability to perceive life as understandable, manageable, and meaningful. This is the foundation of lasting change.

We target four key areas of health: Movement, Nutrition, Habits, and Mindset. Each is supported by carefully designed General Resistance Resources (GRRs)—including structure, education, physical training, and psychological support—to help clients adapt to life’s demands while building resilience over time.

Environment and relationship are central to our process. We help clients reshape their surroundings to support healthful behaviours, while building a consistent coaching relationship grounded in accountability, trust, and personal growth. It’s not just about improving symptoms—it’s about creating the conditions where health becomes inevitable.

Why We Do It

We believe health is more than the absence of disease or a temporary pursuit of fitness goals—it's the ability to adapt, thrive, and live with clarity and resilience over the long term. At The Salus Project, we exist to shift the focus from short-term fixes and symptom management to the creation of health itself.

What’s often missed in modern health and wellness is context. People are treated as isolated problems—weight, posture, stress—without considering their environment, mindset, habits, or sense of purpose. Health doesn’t exist in a vacuum; it’s shaped daily by how we move, eat, think, and relate to the world around us.

We do this work because many are stuck in cycles of confusion, burnout, and reactive care. By using Salutogenesis, we help people make sense of their challenges, build the internal and external resources they need (GRRs), and regain control over their lives. We guide our clients to move with strength, eat with intention, think with clarity, and live with meaning—not just for today, but for life.
